QLS OPERATES A QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN COMPLIANCE WITH: BS EN ISO 9001:2008
QLS has achieved Safecontractor accreditation for 2016. This followed an assessment of our Health & Safety documentation to ensure that we comply with the Safecontractor Charter Standards.
QLS has recently been selected as one of the two companies that are to provide rework, inspection and retrofit activities for GM Ellesmere Port.
This has been a fantastic effort by not only the management team but from the support we have had, particularly from our colleagues at GM Luton where the good work during the Vivaro launch re enforced the abilities of our business to GM Europe’s management.
This good work has been reinforced by our newly formed team in Ellesmere Port led by Ray Jones with support from Tina Sweeting.
BSI have recently renewed QLS's ISO 9001:2008 certificate for a further three years following a faultless audit.
In an increasing difficult environment to find good engineers at prices that suppliers wish to contract out to, QLS have taken the step to start an apprentice scheme in conjunction with Semta. Semta is the Sector Skills Council for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering. Our first new apprentice will be based at Ford Dagenham and attend Havering College of Further and Higher Education. We wish Jack Thomas well in his endeavours.
QLS has opened a new 5000sqft facility for storage, sub-assembly, rework and inspection in the North West of England.
